RAIN DATE Monday, September 6. MEN'S DOUBLES/LADIES' DOUBLES: Friday, September 17, through Sunday, September 19. RAIN DATES: Sept. 24-.26. MIXED DOUBLES: starting September 28 through October 3. RAIN DATES: October 6-10. Sign-up deadline is the Monday before the tourneys.

New Tennis Pro for 2010 (Author: ) (Date Submitted: 4/2/2010) The Tennis Committee at MCC is proud and excited to make the following announcement. Tim Mitchell, Tennis Professional, will be joining the staff this summer to serve as our on site Professional for our tennis program. He brings 25 years of experience to our program starting with a stint with MCC in the mid 1980's. He grew up in Maysville so this is like coming back home again. Tim's business is centered in the Cincinnati-Northern Ky. area where he and his staff conduct tennis programs in three different locations. He will personally be making the trip to Maysville weekly from Tuesday-Friday starting in early June to conduct Jr. clinics, private lessons, group drills and tournaments. A tennis schedule is included in this mailing outlining the program for this summer. Tim will begin making phone calls to members early this spring so expect to hear from him. Please direct any questions to Tim or feel free to approach any member of the Tennis Committee – Kent Kalb, Chairman, Shaun Reece, Lucille Smith, Randy Anderson or Rita Blakefield. We are so excited about the upcoming tennis season at MCC. This is just one aspect of the club that we want to see grow and by doing so it will allow our members to become more involved, have fun and at the same time develop and improve their tennis skills. We look forward to seeing everyone on the courts – young and old! We also would like to take this opportunity to Thank Roger Hendrickson for his over 20 years of service to Maysville Country Club. His dedication and knowledge has been invaluable to many present and past members.

2010 Fall Tennis Program (Author: ) (Date Submitted: 8/18/2010) The Fall Jr. Clinic session will be held from August 24th – October 9th for 7 weeks. The schedule is as follows: Pee Wees: Ages 4 – 6 T – Th 4 – 4:30 pm Saturday 12 – 1 pm Beginners: Ages 7 – 13 T – Th 5:30 – 6:30 pm Saturday 1 – 2:30 pm Advanced Beginners: Ages 7 – 13 T – Th 4:30 – 5:30 pm Saturday 2:30 – 4 pm Jr. Prep Saturday 4 – 5:30 pm Prices: Pee Wees: $85 Juniors (weekday): $140 Juniors (Saturday): $105 All lessons will be billed through MCC office Adult Drills: Men's Nite Clinics: All levels Thursday 7 – 8 pm Saturday 9 – 10 am 8 players limit Ladies' Day Clinics: All levels Thursday 9 – 10 am Saturday 10 – 11 am 8 players limit Cost: $10 per session *Private lessons also available Call Tim @ 513-328-8811 to sign-up or for more info

UK/Louisville Football Party Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 4th for the UK / Louisville Football party!! This fun event will begin @ 2:30 with the game starting @ 3:30. An appetizer buffet will be served featuring Wings, Nachos & Veggie Tray. "Buckets of Beer" will be available. We will also have Corn Hole & Darts. Invite a friend & join us on Saturday, September 4th!

Labor Day Holiday The Clubhouse will be open on Monday, September 6th & closed on Tuesday, September 7th for the Labor Day holiday.

Men's Twilight League & Ladies' Leagues During the month of August & September, non-members will be permitted to participate in our weekly Men's Twilight League and Ladies' Leagues. Non-members will be able to play for the same cost as a member. The dates for Men's Twilight League are: Wednesday, August 18th & 25th & Wednesday, September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th. Our weekly Ladies' Leagues are held on Tuesday mornings & Thursday evenings. Reminder to contact the Pro Shop by 5 pm to sign-up each week. Invite a friend & enjoy an evening of golf!!
